Hello!
My name is Jessica Arzate. I’m a Mexican cinematographer based in Los Angeles. My work is primarily focused on narrative and commercial formats, though I’m always eager to explore new mediums, formats, and storytelling approaches. I graduated from the American Film Institute with an MFA in Cinematography and previously studied Philosophy at UNAM in Mexico City.

My vision is shaped by cross-cultural experiences living between Mexico, the U.S., and Spain. Collaboration and intuition are at the core of my process. I approach image-making as both a technical craft and a reflective practice, aiming to capture authenticity and emotional truth in every project.

When I’m not on set, I enjoy waking up early for coffee while the city is quiet or hiking around LA.
